Four integrated layers.
One codebase. Global scale.

Rotate, focus, explore. uBind isn’t a stack of acquired tools stitched together — it’s one platform, four cleanly separated layers, every module talking to every other through the same internal API. Built for global deployment with multi-region data residency.

The platform anatomy, shown in 3D.

Each layer is independently scalable, individually deployable, and globally available across AWS, Azure, and GCP regions. Click a layer below to focus the model — and see what lives on it.

A rating engine
that lives inside.

Most platforms make you bring your own actuarial system. uBind doesn’t. The rating engine is a first-class citizen of the platform — versioned, testable, A/B-able, and fast enough to return premiums under 300ms even on complex multi-factor risks.

No code. No actuary in the loop.
Bring your own rating spreadsheets and data tables — upload them and map the fields. Deploy in minutes. Version everything.
Sub-300ms quotes at p95.
Distributed in-memory rating across all major cloud regions. Cold start is the warm path.
A/B test pricing in production.
Run two rate versions side-by-side. Track loss ratio per cohort. Promote the winner with one click.
Auditable to every cent.
Every calculation creates a full breakdown with infinite nesting, and taxes applied at every level. Regulators love it.

Workflows in motion

See how uBind unblocks
every part of your business.

Every audience has a different bottleneck. Pick yours and watch how the platform clears the path — from quote to bind to renewal, end to end.

⚠ The problem

Your roadmap takes years.
The market won’t wait.

Tier-1 insurers lose share every quarter to nimble competitors who launch products in weeks. uBind compresses your product launch from 18 months to 6 weeks — direct, broker, embedded, all live at once on one stack.

  • AI product builder — prompt and refine rates, rules and documents in real time
  • Multi-channel distribution — direct, broker, embedded, all from one core
  • Enterprise SSO, audit log, multi-region data residency baked in
Result: 18 months → 6 weeks time-to-market

⚠ The problem

Brokers spend 70% of the day on admin,
not selling.

Re-keying data. Chasing PDFs. Manually issuing certificates. uBind gives every broker one workspace where quote, bind, claim and renewal happen in a single continuous flow — with the customer in the loop the whole time.

  • Client portals allow customers to access documents, accept cover and pay
  • Auto-generated documents, commission tracking, renewal pipelines
  • One panel, every insurer — quotes rated against all of them at once
Result: 10× bound policies per broker, per month

⚠ The problem

Distributing through 200 brokerages
without losing control.

You can’t oversee binder authorities in spreadsheets. uBind enforces every limit, commission and rule in code — with real-time visibility into who’s selling what, where, and at what margin. Bordereau lands on time, in your capacity’s schema.

  • Per-brokerage pricing, configuration and data segregation
  • Assessment triggers and underwriter referral workflows
  • Binder authority enforced in code — never breached
Result: 100% binder compliance, zero spreadsheets

12 months of plumbing
before you ship a single policy.

Insurtech founders raise on distribution. Then spend the round building core PAS, rating, claims, accounting — plumbing 50 companies before them have already built. uBind is your back-end, your front-end stays yours.

Common questions

The things people ask before signing.

If yours isn’t here, it’s a one-line email away — we answer ourselves, not via a help desk queue.

How long does a real implementation actually take?
AI document and communications management can be implemented in as little as two days. A full-lifecycle digital quote-and-bind implementation typically takes around six weeks, or around ten weeks when claims and third-party integrations are included.
Is the rating engine really built-in, or is it a separate product?
Built-in. It’s a first-class part of the platform — same codebase, same database, same auth model. You don’t license it separately, you don’t pay per-quote for it, and you don’t integrate it. Bring your own rating spreadsheets and data tables — upload them and map the fields, version them, A/B test them, and audit every quote the engine produces.
What does data residency look like for non-Australian regions?
You pick the region. uBind runs in AWS, Azure and GCP regions across North America, EMEA, APAC, LATAM and Australasia. Customer data, audit logs and backups all stay inside the chosen region. We can deploy single-tenant for enterprise carriers who require dedicated infrastructure.
How does uBind compare to Guidewire / Duck Creek / Sapiens?
See the benchmark section above for the honest summary. Short version: legacy core systems were built for the back-office of large insurers and they do that exceptionally well. uBind is built for distribution — quote, rate, bind, and manage across every channel — and we beat the legacy stacks decisively on time-to-launch, total cost, and modularity. uBind can work as a complement to something like Guidewire, or take that role itself as the core platform. Its modular architecture and strong integration capabilities allow it to sit comfortably alongside other systems.
Can we keep our existing PAS and just use uBind for distribution?
Yes — that’s the most common pattern at tier-1 carriers. uBind handles the customer-facing layer (quote, bind, broker workspace, embedded API). Your PAS continues to be the system of record. We sync bi-directionally via the open API, with idempotency keys, webhooks and a full reconciliation surface.
What does pricing look like?
AI document and communications management is offered for a flat monthly fee per seat. Full-lifecycle digital quote and bind is priced with a setup fee, a base monthly fee and usage-based fees.
Who owns the customer data and IP?
You do. Your policies, your customer data, your product configurations, your branding — all yours, and all can be exported in standard formats. uBind never resells customer data, never trains models on it, and never crosses tenant boundaries internally.

Insurance, unblocked.
Across every channel.

Stop building plumbing. Start shipping product. We’ll show you how in 30 minutes.
