uBind launched in 2017, however the people behind uBind have been working in insurance technology since 2006.
Our team led the way in early insurtech in Australia starting with building “quick quote” and quote & bind systems for a major insurer to service their networks of brokerages. We began to work directly with major insurance brokerages and intermediaries across the country, delivering innovative technology solutions.
However systems were quite bespoke, and were costly and time consuming to implement. We wanted to make great insurance technology available to companies of all sizes, and we wanted to be able to deliver it faster, much faster. We also wanted to create really great innovations for insurance distribution, whilst solving some of insurance’s biggest challenges.
In 2017 our SaaS platform was launched, with a core feature set designed around online insurance distribution. Since then we have consistently added new innovations and driven the technology forward, winning numerous awards along the way. We’re constantly told that we’ve achieved so much, but we feel we’re just getting started - and we can’t wait to show you what’s coming next.
